Real estate agent website cost

What does a real estate agent website cost?

The useful answer is not just a number. It is the one-time build, any optional care, the page depth, and the work that still needs its own written scope.

The short answer

One product. A small founding sequence.

One selected founding client pays $0 for the build; the next two selected founding clients pay $250 each after accepting the completed preview, before launch or source release. The standard build is $750: $375 at approved scope and design direction, then $375 at accepted completion before launch or source release.

No compulsory subscription. Free means the build fee only. Domain, hosting and paid third-party costs are itemized in writing before commitment. Self-managed handoff is available; care is separately agreed, with no automatic monthly plan.

Capacity is one selected free build, then two selected $250 builds, then the $750 standard offer. One active build slot at a time. These are capacity caps, not claims that slots are taken. Selection requires a verified problem, launch readiness, content permissions and permission to show the delivered work accurately in a portfolio. No positive review is required.

Existing individual promises and accepted quotes stand. Marrow does not promise rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, or revenue.

The same bounded premium product at a founding price. The two $250 builds are paid only after the completed preview is accepted.

A private preview and written scope let you decide before public launch. No sales call or monthly plan is required.

Up to five useful pages, including one local guide, with the same design quality and delivery terms as the founding builds.

What the build includes

A useful website you can take with you.

Up to five useful pages, including one local guide within that limit; verified copy, rights-cleared imagery, existing contact routing, basic technical search setup, two consolidated revision rounds, mobile and contact-path checks, source handoff and 30 days of defect correction. The domain stays in your control. Delivery timing is agreed after content and dependencies are known.

Scope changes the price

The page count is not the whole story.

Choose this build when

A clear homepage, useful local guide and straightforward contact paths solve your current problem. Some routes can be homepage sections; useful pages matter more than filling a quota.

Agree exceptions before work

New IDX licensing or feeds, custom CRM or backend work, extensive research, ongoing content or SEO, paid media, original filming, major migration and continuing edits are outside this product. Necessary exceptions receive a separate quote.

What is not implied

Some work should be scoped, not assumed.

IDX home search, CRM routing, third-party integrations, and a broader multi-market architecture are discussed when they support the strategy. They are not silently included just because a page has a price. Exact hosting, source handoff, and third-party license terms belong in the written scope as well.

The agent's domain, approved content, and portable website assets stay tied to the business. That is different from claiming that every technical detail is included before the right scope is known.

A better comparison

Four questions worth asking before comparing website prices.

  1. Which cost is one-time and which cost continues? A single headline number does not explain care, hosting, or future edits.
  2. What does the build actually include? Ask about page depth, approved facts, conversion paths, and the time needed to make each page useful.
  3. What is separately scoped? IDX, integrations, large content systems, and custom work should be explicit instead of assumed.
  4. Can you see a direction before it represents your business? Marrow starts with a private preview rather than publishing an official site without approval.
